ParticipantMale 50yrs. Main complaint has been sleep and tiredness which has been improving well on HQZJT + FL (HQ at 5). Is waking at 4 am with discomfort around the umbilicus. He belches, and is then ok. Happens every morning, and has increased without herbs, but doesn’t go away with herbs. Runny nose in the morning, too. Pulse: L all deep, weak guan, weak wiry tight chi; R cun slippery, biggger guan, deep weak chi. Bowels are normal. Thirst is normal. Has a history of heart burn, but hasn’t had it present in 4 years. I was thinking to put SJ 9 and ZS 15. Any thoughts?

ParticipantI’m wondering about the need for HL for the right cun. Another option may be HLT. But yes, Waaynee might be right for the need to harmonize first with a XXT and maybe SJXXT.

ParticipantLily bulb disease? Mental stress? Also sometimes the rollup pulse does extend slight proximally and seems like a slippery cun, but actually just a roll up pulse. At one of the clinic days with AV in the states he mentioned that possibility. Then it could be GCXXT + GZ 9 and FL 24. Someone can enlighten me. I am not sure about the slippery right cun either.
