Lettie de Wit holds an undergraduate degree in Medical Biology. She received her diploma in acupuncture from the Qingbai Academy for Chinese medicine in the Netherlands. While studying at Qingbai, she also began studying Western Medicine at the Free University of Amsterdam (VU) from which she graduated at age 28 as a medical doctor specialized in pediatrics. In 2010, she further obtained her postgraduate diploma in Chinese herbal medicine.

After a few years in private practice, in 2015, Lettie commenced her studies in canonical Chinese medicine at Amsterdam ICEAM. She graduated in 2018 as a Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Medicine. She then continued her clinical training throughout Europe for another 2,5 years and received her certification as a Fellow of the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine in 2020. Since 2018, Lettie has worked as the coordinator for ICEAM teaching clinics in the Netherlands and is currently the director of Utrecht ICEAM responsible of hosting the second Dutch/pan-European canonical training. Lettie conducts her private practice in the Utrecht area where she treats patients mostly with herbal medicine.
